Sophie Thatcher as Teen Natalie in the ‘Yellowjackets’ Season 3 finale episode ‘Full Circle’Paramount+ with Showtime
I think that its liberating for her in a certain way.
Just to clarify, not to say that were gonna get there very soon, noted Nickerson.
DEADLINE:One thing that was exciting about the finale was that Pit Girl is revealed finally.
Alexa Barajas as Teen Mari in the ‘Yellowjackets’ Season 3 finaleDarko Sikman/Paramount+ with Showtime
Can you tell me about bringing that story full circle?
Was Mari always the one you wanted to be Pit Girl?
DEADLINE:Also the fact that Callie killed Lottie, thats another big bombshell from this episode.
Can you tell me what that means for her character and her relationship with her mom?
How much is she like her mother, and is it nature versus nurture to some extent?
And I think that weve seen Shaunas true colors this season.
Can you tell me a little bit about whats going through her mind in that moment?
LYLE:I think shes both grieving and finally allowing herself to recognize who she is.
Im gonna make smoothies for my husband.
Im going to tutor Callie.
Im going to commit to the role that Ive chosen for myself.
I think that its liberating for her in a certain way.
Can you tell me about her arc this season and how it lends to the team possibly getting home?
And it is a question for the fourth season of, is this gambit gonna work?
LYLE:I think that that is something that will be very fun for us.
Thats our time, man.
The media is still such a volatile place, but in the 90s, it was awful.
LYLE:Oh my God,Hard Copy?
I think thats an interesting thing Im excited to see more of.
NICKERSON:Theres still a lot of dynamic kind of unfolding in the past kind of and the present.
So, were not really close to the final version of either timelines character or the character dynamics.
Theres gonna be a lot of shifting and changing still to come.
LYLE:Theyre not out of the woods yet, both literally and proverbially.
It was very exciting to shoot.
So, it was really fun.
DEADLINE:And Bart, can you tell me about like directing the finale?
NICKERSON:It was very fun, very challenging.
