He was a giant who never saw anyone as smaller than himself.
But his calm spirit and deep faith seemed unshakeable.
And his humble devotion leaves us little doubt which of those two important roles he prized the most.
Despite daunting challenges and trying times, his bright energy and spirit never faltered.
His enduring example reminds us that we can still find common ground despite our differences.
Jimmy Carter was a true public servant and peacemaker.
