Created, written and executive produced by Danny McBride, who also stars,The Righteous Gemstonestells the story of a world-famous televangelist family with a long tradition of deviance, greed, and charitable work.
Despite constant bickering, Gemstone family ties run deep, and this season, the familys codependence is tested as they attempt to move forward without letting go of their storied past.

As we previously reported, McBride, in an interview with GQ, said the move to end the series felt natural, given that his idea for Season 4 was a story that was bringing all these themes and these ideas and these characters to a conclusion, to something that felt like completion.
