I was like, oh, thatll be interesting!
I thought it was very important and agree that it should air during Womens History Month because its historical.
(Tom considered throwing a wig on the one male producer but thought better of it).
But its special all the same to Tom.
The mother daughter relationships are so interesting to me and so formative, says Tom.
And now this is going to make me cry because I lost my mother last year.
The episode that featured 45 pages of dialogue was shot all in one day in February.
And despite its themes, its not considered a standalone episode.
It does fit within the story of where they are in the series, says Tom.
I think everyone was really excited about it.
And thats the other thing about this show.
When I first started doing this, I was like, gosh, am I going to have pushback?
Are people going to be like, what the heck is going on?
But everyone has been so supportive.
