Although sequels rarely surpass the original, Gavin OConnors long-gestatingThe Accountant 2is a pleasant surprise.

While I admit I wouldnt call myself the target audience, the original fell flat for me.

Regardless, the familial dynamics in the movie manage to tug at the heartstrings.
