The Academy Award nominee was among the recipients of the 2023 Kennedy Center Honors.

Honorees are confirmed by the executive committee of the Centers board of trustees.
From 1993-1998, Latifah starred in the beloved sitcomLiving Single.
Latifah most recently received a National Medal of the Arts from the U.S. government.
Executive producers are David Jammy, Elizabeth Kelly and Jack Sussman.
The show will be directed by Alex Rudzinski.
