A portion of the iconicSanta CruzWharf collapsed into the Pacific Ocean just after noon today.
The last 150 feet of the 2,745 foot long structure dropped into the Pacific, according to local officials.
Two of them were rescued and one was able to get out on their own.

Three people also fell in.
Most notably, it provided the electric nighttime tableau for the flying vampire POV shots inThe Lost Boys.
