Malone died October 19 at Memorial Sloan Cancer Center in New York after a long illness.
He eventually was promoted to content director ofB&Cand its corporate siblingsMultichannel Newsand NextTV.
He authored several books, both novels and non-fiction.

A memorial visitation period for Malone will be held on November 1, from 4-8 p.m.
ET at Hawthorne Funeral Home in Hawthorne, NY.
