Elliots unique storytelling style and meticulous craftsmanship, which he has dubbed clayography, has earned him international acclaim.
He first gained widespread recognition with his short filmHarvie Krumpet, which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film in 2003.
He continued his success with the 2009 stop-motion featureMary & Max, featuring the voices of Toni Collette, Philp Seymour Hoffman, Eric Bana and more, which also garnered the Cristal Award at the Annecy Animation Film Festival.
Collectively, Elliots six films, both shorts and features, have participated in over 700 film festivals, receiving over 100 awards.
