The CCAs have often correlated with wins that later also went on to take key Oscars.
Those awards traditionally draw a bevy of Oscar contenders as well.
For the Critics Choice Awards, TV nominations will be announced December 4, and film nominations December 5.
The 31st annual Critics Choice Awards show will be executive produced by Bob Bain Productions and Berlin Entertainment.
