Theres a real tradition in theBridget Jonesfilms of these fantastically cast men opposite Bridget.
Its just so good the way theyve done it in the past.
So pressures on, but the good thing is these two were the very first.
They were the two.
Hes a superlative dramatic actor, but hes so charming as well.
In the movie, Chiwetels got this gravitas and this center.
Hes scientific, hes rigid.
He doesnt want to let any explanation other than science in, and thats his position, Morris said.
Hes a total star whos just arrived.
And soon as I met him, I was like, Okay, we weve got our guy.
And thenOne Daycame out, and the whole world was like Leo Woodall.
Im really happy for him, but hes able to do the same thing.
They really feel each other.
He finds her really attractive and she finds him really attractive, and they have fun.
The montage of them falling for each other is lovely and warm.
Its not actually trying to point out the differences between them.
Its actually about her finding this guy.
And ultimately, he cant see past that age thing for a while, and its sad.
Thats not what this is about.
And shes come to this realization that she is now centered and safe and secure with her thing.
Shes not looking for anything from anyone.
And of course, its only then that you are open to meeting someone properly.
