It was quite a morning for my parents and family.

I grew up here and many others have considered this place a home at one time or another.

My parents hosted many gatherings, and it was filled with laughter, love, and music.

There are so many people in Altadena who lost everything and they are in my thoughts and prayers.

Midlers post comes after she shared astatementof support for the victims of the wildfires.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department has received 13 missing persons reports.

At least two people have been killed.

And many more are injured including firefighters.

To the residents of Southern California: We are with you.
