Due to the ongoing tragedy of the fires raging across Los Angeles,American Cinemathequehaspostponedits scheduledTribute to the Craftsawards show which was to take place Thursday night at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.
The fourth annual ceremony honoring the best in crafts for movies each year was set recognize the craftspeople behindChallengers, Dune Part II, Emilia Perez, Nickel Boys, Saturday Night, Fall Guy, The Substance, Wicked and Will & Harper,andbestow a career achievement award toMariacinematographer Ed Lachman.

Several awards-season events and shoots have been canceled or postponed in the wake of the fires, which fueled by fierce winds began breaking out Tuesday starting in the Pacific Palisades, where more than 1,000 structures have been destroyed and thousands displaced including in Malibu and parts of Santa Monica as it raged unchecked overnight.
There are also wildfires in Altadena near Pasadena, in Sylmar north of Los Angeles, and in the Sepulveda Basin in the San Fernando Valley.
Overall, two people have died, multiple people have been injured and more than 320,000 people are without power.
Other events being postponed included red carpets for the moviesThe Last Showgirl,Unstoppable, Wolf ManandBetter Manand TV seriesThe Pitt, this mornings live event to unveil theSAG Awards nominations, production on shows fromThe Price Is RighttoFallout, events like the BAFTA Tea Party and theme parks including Universal Studios Hollywood and Magic Mountain.
